FRIULANO 'LA VILA' LIS NERIS 2020 DESCRIPTION

The Tocai Friulano "La Vila" by Lis Neris is a wine that stands out for its strong character and its fruity scents. The “Vila” is made entirely from grapes from the vineyards 'historians' of the cellar and brought to maturation in French oak barrels from 500 hectoliters, so as to increase their size without changing the characteristics aromatic of origin. Even for this Tocai Friulano Lis Neris has tried to leave more space for the purity of the original fruit, leaving out the techniques or practices that usually bring a character “built” in the bottle. The name "La Vila" identifies the physical area where once, in the rural areas, living together institutions and activities of public interest, social and leisure: in this way, the winery has tried to draw the Friuli ability to identify the habits and traditions of the past, that they would ever want to see lost. The style of wine is seductive and enveloping, typically characteristic of the Isonzo area, as well as those of Alvaro Pecorari, driving the cellar Lis Neris. In wines and regional characteristics are so pronounced thanks to the gravelly soil, dragged downstream by melting ice, thanks to a good temperature and a constant chilly wind that comes from the Balkans, which together ensure the highest quality of grapes cultivated.
