RED WINE PRIMITIVO DI MANDURIA 'SESSANTANNI' SAN MARZANO 2017 DESCRIPTION

Primitivo "Sessantanni" San Marzano is an excellent wine, well balanced and characterized by a precise and smooth tannins. Cantine San Marzano is today one of the most modern and dynamic winery of the entire district of Manduria. The labels of Cantine San Marzano fully reflect the territory of Manduria, drawing on a tradition so ancient, but also wearing a veil modern, elegant, precise and clean. Even for the Primitivo "Sessantanni" production philosophy that gave birth is the same, it must be stressed in particular the nature of the soils on which are born and grow vines of Cantine San Marzano: consisting of the residual red soils in fine texture and generally with calcareous rock outcrops and sparse, this terroir is particularly suitable for the maturation of the Primitive; in addition the warm climate, with low annual rainfall and very high temperature, have a highly beneficial influence on the quality of the grapes. The production philosophy that creates an agreement between strong traditional matrix and a more modern approach, has created the basis for making the wines of San Marzano fiefs of high quality, point of reference of the entire wine scene of Puglia. The Primitivo "Sessantanni" is only the first speaker of the excellent work that the winery is doing: fleshy, intensely fruity, rich in aromas and flavors and with great persistence. A perfect wine.
