The philosophy of the winery Aldo Rainoldi is "Wine as a culture" and the Sassella Superiore Riserva this respect it fully. Terraces and wine tradition honoring local knowledge left by the ancestors and leads to produce wines that highlight and pay homage to the culture of these places, enclosing itself an innovation needed to improve a selection of high quality wines. Absolute quality which is part of the Sassella Superiore Riserva, a red wine of great longevity that after two or three years is offered in all its particular harmony. And 'robust and austere and is made only in the best years, after a rigorous selection of grapes. We are in the fascinating image of the terraces of the Valtellina, on vineyards that slip away between 270 and 600 meters above sea level, on rich rock ferrous and vines over 30 years of age. The Superiore Sassella Riserva by Rainoldi aged in oak barrels for nearly two years, and then stabilized for a further twelve months in bottle.
