Adami is one of the most important wineries in the classic Prosecco Superiore area. For more than 90 years it has been cultivating vineyards and offering a range of excellent sparkling wines, faithful to the oldest traditions of the Marca Trevigiana. In this hilly area of the Veneto region, in fact, quality white wines were already being produced in the 17th century, not only appreciated in Venice, but also exported to many European countries. The company's origins date back to 1920, when Abele Adami purchased a particularly valuable vineyard, which, due to its characteristics, he decided to keep separate from the other land he owned and to vinify separately to enhance the quality of the grapes. Thus was born the label with the indication of the Giardino vineyard, which represents one of the historical crus of the area, still today recognised as one of the best.

The hilly territory of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano has been recognised as a Unesco World Heritage Site for its high landscape value and for having preserved a productive fabric linked to the ancient customs of local viticulture. The steep slopes, often terraced, allow only laborious manual work and harvesting, requiring many hours of presence in the vineyard. The soils are predominantly calcareous, with calcareous-clay marls and sands, resting on an almost outcropping mother rock. These are poor, very well-drained soils, suitable for quality viticulture. The area is influenced by the presence of the foothills of the Pre-Alps, which make the climate cool and continental, very windy and characterised by significant temperature ranges between day and night.

Since the 1980s, the helm of the winery has been in the hands of Armando and Franco Adami, who carry on the old family savoir-faire with great passion. The estate has its main nucleus in Colbertaldo di Vidor and covers a total area of 50 hectares, divided into various plots. The vineyards are cultivated with the Glera white grape variety, historically present in these lands for centuries and the basis of the sparkling wine tradition. Its floral and fruity aromas, high acidity and moderate alcohol content make it perfect for making excellent sparkling wine bases. In addition to the historical labels, the winery has been able to enhance the best plots with a series of bottles dedicated to individual vineyards or to the Rive, plots cultivated in particularly steep areas.
