AMARETTO ADRIATICO DESCRIPTION

Adriatico Amaretto is an interesting version of this traditional Italian liqueur, produced in Apulia, with the aim of creating a high-end label. It is a new project that aims to highlight the Apulian territory and one of its world-renowned products of excellence: the Filippo Cea almond variety. What characterizes the liqueur is its strong territorial identity, expressed through the choice of locally sourced, top-quality raw materials and meticulous packaging. The bottle has been specially designed and crafted, drawing inspiration from the architectural forms of the Castel del Monte fortress, a true architectural symbol of the land of Murge.

Amaretto liqueur is a hallmark of the Adriatico brand, created with great attention to detail. The almonds are handpicked in the Apulian countryside and, after careful selection, undergo a lengthy roasting process lasting several hours. They are then macerated to extract all the scents and flavors. The juice is then subjected to distillation, carried out with particular care to obtain a liqueur with a soft, velvety profile and rich in aromatics. The base distillate is enriched with vanilla, cinnamon, and coffee, making the taste profile more complex. Finally, cane sugar is added to balance the bitterness of the almonds, but in half the amount compared to traditional Amaretto recipes. The finishing touch is provided by a pinch of sea salt, sourced from the historic salt pans of Margherita di Savoia.

Adriatico Amaretto is a liqueur that tells the tradition of a generous land, kissed by the warm sun and caressed by the Adriatic breezes. It contains and embodies the best characteristics of the territory: almonds ripened in the Mediterranean climate, the scents of spices, and the marine touch of salt. It has an intense and luminous amber color when viewed. Elegant and rich, it expresses aromas reminiscent of toasted almond, sweet notes of citrus honey, flavors of dried fruit, hints of vanilla, sweet spices, and a slight hint of roasting. On the palate, it is warm and suave, soft and enveloping, with a rich aromatic taste. The almond aromas and sweet notes are well-balanced with a fresh, slightly bitter, and savory finish. An excellence worth trying.
