The Muller Thurgau from San Michele Appiano is the expression of one of the typical grape varieties of a territory that in recent years has managed to express itself at levels of absolute quality in the wine sector, we are obviously talking about Alto Adige. The vineyards of this wine are located in the wonderful setting of Alto Adige, more precisely in the areas of Campill, San Genesio, and Graun near Cortaccia, at an altitude ranging from 600 to 900 meters.

The San Michele Appiano Muller Thurgau takes shape and vigor in soils composed mainly of gravel of calcareous origin and porphyritic sediments. In order to maintain a high quality of the final product, it is therefore necessary to be very precise throughout the entire processing, starting from the care of the vineyard, and it is therefore obvious that the harvest takes place only and exclusively by hand. Once the fruits are transferred to the winery, vinification and aging take place in stainless steel containers, so as to maintain the intrinsic characteristics of a grape variety with a very wide aromaticity.

The Muller Thurgau from San Michele Appiano, once poured into glass presents itself with a lively straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose is rich in fruity notes ranging from peach to lychee, further enriched by hints of hay and firm, intense spicy notes of nutmeg, capable of adding further depth to the already rich aromatic bouquet. On the palate, this wine is taut, the aromaticity that is an intrinsic and typical characteristic of the Muller Thurgau manages to envelop the sip supported by a fine sapidity and decisive freshness. With this interpretation, the San Michele Appiano winery has managed to create a faithful ambassador with a grape variety and a territory that together, over the years, have contributed to making many wine lovers enthusiastic and fall in love.
