Huot winery, which is located in Saint Martin d'Ablois in Coteau south of Epernay, in the Champagne region, was founded in 1950 by Louis, founder of 4 generations of vignerons that since the nineteenth century cultivate vines in this area. Today, this small maison is conducted with skill, passion and hard work by Olivier Huot and his wife Annemarie. The seven hectares of vineyards, which are all in the area of Epernay, highly suitable for the production of Champagne, are grown in equal measure with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The treatments, which are carried out in the vineyard, are defined as "lutte raisonnée" that is minimally invasive and harvesting is carried out in a careful selection of grapes. The Champagne Huot, synonymous of freshness, elegance and charm, have aroused the interest of both the public and the critics, who has given them numerous awards.
