Maison Louis Huot, has always and rightly established itself in the Champagne region's wine scene for the production of labels of extreme elegance, fine freshness and infinite taste persistence. Located in the Coteaux Sud of Epernay, an area highly suited for the production of France's most famous bubbles, it extends its seven hectares of property, in the small villages of Saint Martin d'Ablois, Vinay, Chavot and Monthelon. Its ancient origins date back to 1950, when Louis Huot, great-grandfather of the current generation of owners, founded the winery, starting an ambitious and compelling story. Today the maison is run with the same expertise, passion and love of terroir as his great-grandfather, by Olivier Huot and his wife Annemarie, the fourth generation of the family.

Seven hectares of vineyards, all of which are located in the Epernay area, between the Côte de Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne, planted equally to Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, traditional grape varieties of the area. The soils are clay and limestone and naturally give freshness and minerality to the final products. The Huot family's vignerons have always impeccably interpreted the profession of Récoltants Manipulant, personally making the blends in the cellar in order to offer unique Champagnes each year that are representative of their style. The treatments, which are carried out in the vineyard, are defined as "lutte raisonnée," that is, minimally invasive towards an eco-sustainable cultivation that respects the environment they have found themselves living and raising. Each harvest is practiced manually, with meticulous selection already in the vineyard in order to bring only the best and healthiest bunches to the winery.

Huot Champagnes, synonymous with freshness, elegance and charm, have over time attracted the interest of both the public and the critics, who have given them numerous awards. An authentic and recognizable taste year after year, thanks to the skilful addition in the final cuvèe of a small percentage of vins de reserve that the maison expertly and carefully guards within the cellar walls.
