Brut "Le Nombre d'Or Integrale" Aubry is an absolutely unique and special vintage Champagne. It is a label that represents a true historic memory of Champagne. The cuvée is made from a blend, which in addition to the classic Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, includes other varieties now almost abandoned. A Champagne with an old-fashioned taste, which, thanks to a long aging on the lees, presents an elegant and refined aromatic complexity, combined with a beautiful mineral freshness.
Maison Aubry's Champagne Brut "Le Nombre d'Or Integrale" was born on the estate located in Jouy-lès-Reims, in the heart of the Petite Montagne de Reims. The Aubry brothers, descendants of a family that has been cultivating vines in Champagne since 1790, decided to recover the old vines once grown in the region and now abandoned. A work of preservation of historical memory, carried out with the desire to reintroduce a Champagne with the taste of the past and the oldest family tradition. The domaine consists of 15 hectares, divided into about sixty small plots cultivated with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc, Arbanne, Petit Meslier, Fromenteau. Thus was born the idea of creating the cuvée "Le Nombre d'Or Integrale," with the grapes of seven different varieties, capable of expressing the authentic profile of the Champagne of the origins. Rigorous work in the vineyard, the use of only the best grapes, soft pressings and aging of the base wines in wood, guarantee absolute excellence. After the creation of the blend, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise method, with a rest on the lattes of at least 48 months.
Aubry's "Le Nombre d'Or Integrale" is a vintage Brut Champagne that was created to differentiate itself from a standardization process and to offer aficionados a label with a unique character that revives the taste of 18th-century wines. A goblet that represents a real journey back in time. The color is straw yellow with a very fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet expresses floral scents, aromas of ripe fruit, hints of yeast and pastry. The sip is complex, broad and voluptuous, with a pleasantly fresh and savory finish.
