RED WINE CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA CASTELLARE DI CASTELLINA 2019 DESCRIPTION

The Chianti Classico Riserva Castellare of Castellina is a clear example of how one can, even today, producing quality wines from native grapes, respecting the traditions and local history, without giving in to fads . A fashion that makes you lose the peculiarities of Sangioveto in purity; a fashion that makes you lose the uniqueness and elegance of the Chianti. In the territory of Castellina in Chianti, at 409 meters above sea level, on limestone soil and on vines older than 25 years old was born Chianti Classico Riserva Castellare of Castellina, which is harvested in the first half of October and is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. We are faced with a Chianti Classico Riserva vinified Sangioveto alone, which shows the typical ruby red, tending to garnet with aging. A Chianti Classico Riserva, which expresses all its scents of violets on the nose, never forget the finesse, the elegance, the softness and the harmony that has always distinguished all the wines of Castellare of Castellina.
