RED WINE PALAZZO DELLA TORRE ALLEGRINI 2019 DESCRIPTION

Palazzo Della Torre is one of the wines that has made the winery Allegrini worldwide. It is the expression and full-bodied namesake winery surrounding the Villa Della Torre, a beautiful Renaissance palace became a symbol of excellence and point of Amarone. The Palazzo Della Torre by Allegrini comes from Corvina and Rondinella grapes, with the addition of a small percentage of Sangiovese.

In early September, the grapes are picked by hand: a portion of the crop is left to wither, and some is for winemaking immediate. In December, the dried grapes are crushed and de-stemmed, merges stainless steel together with the wine produced from fresh, where it ferments. Then the wine is aged in French oak barriques of second passage for 15 months, then in bottles for another 7, so as to achieve a rich flavor profile, full and velvety.

The excellence of the Palazzo della Torre by Allegrini is the result of high-quality grapes, from a land excellent and prestigious, but also of a unique production process, attention and supervision. Of dark ruby red color, the great charm of the Palazzo Della Torre is attributed to its bouquet played on gloomy feeling of dried flowers, pepper, tobacco and resin. The mouth reveals a good structure, but also a soft touch and elegant and persistence savory and fresh. Ideal companion to risotto and pasta classic, this wine is at its best in the company of good meats, pork and cheese, revealing his soul dark and intense, full of exciting flavors and scents.
