The Frizzante Rosato 'Colbotto' from the Calabrian winery Le Quattro Volte is a bottle with a bright and engaging flavour, ideal for moments of carefree conviviality. Le Quattro Volte was born in San Marco Argentano, in the province of Cosenza, from the friendship between the couple Daniela De Marco and Giampiero Ventura, already involved in the Masseria Perugini project, the famous Cosenza singer-songwriter Brunori Sas and Emilio Di Cianni. The very name of the estate, which recalls the title of a song by Brunori Sas, is intended to celebrate the friendship between the four partners.
'Colbotto' Le Quattro Volte Frizzante Rosato originates from only Magliocco grapes grown on clay and limestone soils, excluding the use of pesticides, herbicides and other synthetic chemicals. In the winery, the grapes are vinified into rosé through a brief skin maceration, with the alcoholic fermentation being entrusted entirely to the yeasts naturally present on the grapes and in the cellar environment. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Anchthonous Method, and after a short period of refinement in glass, the final marketing takes place.
To the eye, the Frizzante Rosato 'Colbotto' by Le Quattro Volte reveals a pale cherry pink hue. The aromatic range opens with hints of red fruits such as plum and raspberry, supported by hints of must and notes of aromatic herbs such as oregano. The taste is smooth, very juicy and refreshing, with a pleasant finish that insists on fragrant fruity sensations. Thanks to these organoleptic characteristics, the Frizzante Rosato 'Colbotto' is the perfect choice for informal aperitifs, perhaps paired with various appetisers or lightly matured cheeses.
