The Grappa di Torcolato Capovilla is a valuable product of the Italian craftsmanship, made by the greatest master in the field of grappa. Obtained from the marc of Vespaiola grape variery, Vittorio Capovilla succeeded to capture their high detailed aromas, which are also in the soft and enveloping flavor that is able to seduce every palate. This magnificent result was possible thanks to the use of traditional discontinuous boilers equipped with a water bath. The high professionalism of the work is also present at the time of harvest. In fact, the name “torcolato” comes from the agricultural practice of coiling the grapes with the twine around wooden beam bunches, leaving them dry and caressed by the wind: in taht way, the berries lose their juice, favoring the concentration of sugar. The rich sweetness of Vespaiola has given it a name that refers to the fact that it is always appreciated, referring to the delighted flying wasps - “vespe” in Italian – around it. The result is such an harmonious grappa, great to be slighly tasted with a sigar or aged cheeses...a connoisseurs one, able to give unique emotions.
