De Sousa's Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne "Cuvée des Caudalies" captivates from the first sip with its extraordinary facet and expressive refinement. The grapes come only from vineyards over 50 years old, cultivated in the communal territory of the Grand Cru of Avize. The first fermentation takes place in oak barrels, and after blending, the second fermentation is carried out in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a stay sur lattes of at least 48 months. In the goblet, it has a brilliant light gold colour, crossed by a very fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet expresses iodine and marine notes, hints of white flowers, citrus and delicately fruity aromas, hints of bread crust and ripe fruit. The sip is taut and vibrant, with an elegant and creamy centre of the mouth. The finish is vertical, savoury and with great freshness. A Champagne of the highest level.
