Griesel & Compagnie's Classic Method Riesling Brut is a 'Sekt,' or sparkling wine from Germany, which is very identifiable: in fact, the indigenous Riesling grape is sparkled. After months of aging and malolactic fermentation, the base wine matures almost 2 years in the bottle. This is an airy wine of great freshness and intensity. The nose surprises with mineral hints that meet hints of pastry. The sip has a crisp and energetic, almost electric verve, perfect paired with savory dishes such as some cured meats
