It is part of the new Champagne collections of the famous brand, focused on a stronger enhancement of the terroir characteristics. The number indicates the vintages that have followed since the founding date among the estate's rows. The name Collection emphasizes its exclusive nature, a true synthesis of the vineyards cultivated in the most suitable places and the precious reserve wines heritage. It is a rich and broad Champagne with a gourmand profile, suitable for those who prefer a smooth and seductive sip, with ripe and satisfying fruit.

"Collection 244" is a Brut Champagne from the famous Maison Louis Roederer, made from a classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, coming from various vineyards located in different areas of the estate. The three grape varieties are vinified separately and parcelled in white. The clusters are gently pressed and the must ferments in temperature-controlled steel tanks. After a few months of aging, the vins clairs of the vintage are blended, adding about 45% of reserve wines, which give complexity and maturity to the cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champagne method, with a sur lattes resting of at least 48 months before disgorgement.

The Louis Roederer Brut "Collection 244" is a non-vintage Champagne of great elegance, which well represents the classic and refined style of the Maison, always committed to creating cuvées that can best express the characteristics of a high-end terroir. In the glass, it has a bright light yellow color with brilliant golden reflections. The perlage is fine, delicate, and continuous. The bouquet is rich and intense, with notes of ripe yellow fruit, peach, pineapple, nuances of tropical fruit, lemon zest, candied citrus, pastry softness, and acacia honey, hints of toasted hazelnut and almond. The sip is broad, clear, and deep, with remarkable complexity and aromatic persistence, accompanied by a pleasant mineral freshness.
