The Fratelli Tedeschi winery is a historic production reality in Valpolicella that boasts four centuries of tradition and that, enhancing the richness of the terroir, has been able to create a unique and modern style: powerful and elegant wines, endowed with great typicity and character. The Tedeschi style, linked to the terroir, to native grape varieties but also to the most innovative production methods, began in the 1960s, when Lorenzo Tedeschi had the intuition to vinify separately the grapes from the Monte Olmi vineyard, giving rise to one of the first cru in Valpolicella. Today, work in the vineyard and cellar is overseen by Riccardo, Antonietta and Sabrina, pioneers throughout the area of healthy and environmentally friendly viticulture, in which ancient family traditions are perfectly combined with science and new technologies.

Starting with the historic Monte Olmi vineyard in the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano, the Tedeschi family now owns three other vineyards also located in the Pedemonte of Valpolicella area: La Fabriseria vineyard, Tenuta Manternigo, and Lucchine vineyard. The winery has a modern fermentation room (equipped with state-of-the-art horizontal and vertical fermenters), an aging room (where Slavonian oak barrels are housed), and a technologically advanced fruit cellar, managed through a computerized system.

Tedeschi wines are those typical of the Valpolicella territory, where Valpolicella and Valpolicella Ripasso stand out, but above all Amarone, at the top of the denomination, among the most charismatic and representative. These are precise and clean, expertly curated wines that best express the terroir of Valpolicella.
